The incident happened on Saturday, when a 12 people entered into a closed mine to steal coal.
Nine of them entered into the well of the mine first while three others, who followed them, came back after smelling strong adour, emanating from the pit.
After the nine people did not come out from the pit, they called the police and later a team was sent for rescue operation.
The rescue team later recovered the dead bodies of all the nine people.
The rescue team found high level of carbon monoxide from the mine, which hit the rescue operation.
Authorities have arrested the kingpin who gathered the people for this operation, reported Xinhua.
