With this transaction, PNE Wind has completely divested its British subsidiary PNE Wind UK.
Brookfield will immediately pay a portion of the transaction value, while the remaining will be transferred upon the projects reaching certain milestones.
As part of the deal, Brookfield also has an option to purchase a 70MW project.
PNE Wind CEO Martin Billhardt said: "In the UK, we have now sold the entire project pipeline developed by us over the past six years.
"This transaction represents a significant step in the achievement of our EBIT guidance."
Since February, the company has been in talks with potential investors to jointly develop its wind project portfolio. However, it had decided to sell its entire stake of 90% as the interested parties intended to acquire the project in full, PNE Wind said.
The remaining 10% held by PNE’s joint venture partner has also been sold.
Merchant bank Augusta and law firm Watson Farley & Williams advised PNE Wind on the transaction.
