Managed by Lukoil, the project covers seven fields, including Adamtash, Djarkuduk – Yangi Kizilcha, Gumbulak, Amanata, Pachkamar, gas condensate fields as well as Akkul oil and gas condensate field and Koshkuduk oil field.

Eriell serves as the contractor for Adamtash, Gumbulak, Djarkuduk-Yangi Kizilcha gas condensate fields.

Under the contract, GE will supply the centrifugal compressors featuring GE Energy Management-developed variable speed drive system (VSDS).

Planned to be delivered in April 2016, the centrifugal compressors will be installed at the boosting compressor station (BCS) Adamtash in Dekhanabad district.

GE Oil & Gas Russia and commonwealth of independent states (CIS) turbomachinery solutions commercial leader Luca Polezzi said: "Our capability to offer a full responsibility of the entire motor compressor train made this solution a good choice for Lukoil."

Designed to be operated in a wide range of pressures, the compressors can be used for sour gas, and developing high pressure gas.

The efficiency of the train is enhanced with the VSDS as it features induction motor and voltage source inverter (VSI) technology.

Compared to conventional gas turbine compressor stations, the electrical variable drive system enhances availability as well as limit environmental impact, GE said.
