The company is seeking partnership proposals from green energy developers for constructing several renewable projects, with a maximum capacity of 50MW each.

The company is likely to consider wind farms for the project, Irish Times wrote.

Apple is expected to sign power purchase agreements for 20 years, as well as acquire the renewable assets.

The firm is expecting the projects to be commissioned by 2018.
