Vestas Wind Systems has received an order for 35 V80 2 MWe wind turbine units via its wholly owned German subsidiary, Vestas Deutschland GmbH. The order has been placed by Gesellschaft für Handel und Finanz, situated in Leer, Ostfriesland, and has a value for Vestas of around r60 million. The turbines will be delivered during 2002-2003 and will be placed in wind farms located in Beeskow, Brandenburg and Sallgast, Saxony.
