Aggreko has been awarded an exclusive contract to provide broadcast power for the 2002 FIFA world cup in Japan. The company will supply 15 MW of temporary electrical power generation and distribution systems amounting to 100 km of cable for the broadcast facilities at 10 Japanese venues between May 31st and June 30th next year, together with extensive planning services and 24 hour on site support.
