Greenpeace has thrown its weight behind Juice, a new company formed by Innogy to meet the market for green energy products. Juice is being launched by nPower, the marketing arm of Innogy, and will provide around 50 MW of power from on-shore windfarms and the Dolgarrog hydro plant in North Wales. nPower hopes an offshore windfarm seven miles of the Welsh coast will take over supply in due course – it’s the North Hoyle plant being built by nPower’s sister company National Wind Power and due for completion in 2003.
