According to the agreement, Cavico will construct a cross tunnel 4100m in length and 3.8m in diameter, with an incline tunnel that is 143m in length and 3.8m in diameter, a 315m long adit tunnel, 73m tall surge tank, and a water intake gate. Cavico expects to complete the construction within 27 months from project commencement.
The hydro power plant is located in Tan Trinh village, in the Ha Giang province, approximately 210km northwest of Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi. The twin-unit plant will have a capacity of 42MW upon completion. The overall project requires $57M of capital investment to complete.
