Siemens Power and Transmission Distribution Group has taken over maintenance services for the power supply systems of United Networks. The latter operates an electricity distribution system in New Zealand serving 500 000 users as well as a gas distribution system serving 120 000 gas users. The deal, worth around 170 million euros, will operate for seven years.
