Under the JV, meeco will provide design, layout, engineering, planning and supervision, as well as procurement of components outside Pakistan, while other partners will be responsible for contracts and legal support, execution planning, local procurement as well as support/management in O&M and administrative services.
The company’s business plan is aimed at providing business-to-business solutions to customers in Pakistan.
Having secured four orders totaling of 1.7MW, the JV, which builds on the company’s strategy to set up business in growing markets with local partners, will help enhance reliable energy production in the country.
meeco sales director Dieter Trutschler said that this strategy will allow the company to help solve issues related to unreliable grid and constantly raising energy costs.
