The company produces triazine products, which are used to clean crude oil, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and SAGD (steam-assisted gravity drainage).

The phase 1 expansion includes construction of new blend tanks to perform post reactor blends, while additional capacity will allow the company to manufacture a wide range of products.

In phase 2, the company will build another triazine reactor, as well as additional raw materials storage and handling, which is expected to be complete by fall 2014.

The new additions will support the production of MEA or MMA triazines, and blending of various ingredients to the triazines.

Oilfield Technology Group senior vice president Jerry Borges said that the expanded triazine production will allow the company to meet the increasing demands of customers in the Gulf Coast area.

"The plant will also operate more efficiently, ensuring that we continue to provide our customers with some of the most advanced, high quality triazine products in the industry," Borges added.
