As part of the deal, the company will handle the engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance and commissioning services of the plant.

The new plant is expected to produce around 405,000 tons per year from its current production close to 200,000 tons per year.

The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015.

ICA Fluor is a joint venture (JV) of Empresas ICA and Fluor, while Petroquimica Mexicana de Vinilo (PMV) is a JV of Mexichem and Pemex.
