Apart from design, production and delivery of two PT-25/34-3.4/1.3 steam turbines, each having a 34 MW capacity, the contract also covers supply of two Elektrotyazhmash-Privod-built generators.
Under the contract, which is called "The Reconstruction of Voronezhskaya TPP-1", KTZ will provide services for the equipment installation, commissioning supervision, and put it into operation.
The equipment supplied under the contract is scheduled to be operated at the 223MW combined cycle power plant (CCPP) power unit, which is currently being constructed by Quadra at this project’s site.
KTZ has already supplied Quadra the equipment for Kurskaya TPP and Voronezhskaya TPP-2 plants.
Deliveries of the first and second equipment packages is scheduled to take place in November and December 2014, respectively.
