The Northern and Southern anomalies occur in the south-central part of the project area near the southern boundary.

The discovery was made using Fission and Special Project’s high resolution magnetic and radiometric airborne survey technology that is currently patent-pending.

The Northern anomalous region is located within a 1.5km x 0.5km area and comprises a number of parallel trends up to 300m, while the Southern anomaly is situated about 7km to the SW of the northern anomaly and is characterized by being narrow and can be traced for up to 3km.

Fission president, COO, and chief geologist Ross McElroy said that the company is encouraged by this strongly radioactive discovery, particularly as it used the same technology to locate the boulder field at Patterson Lake South (PLS).

"While the expansion of our PLS discovery is our main task, following up these new results at our North Shore property is also a priority," McElroy added.
