The company has intersected over 54.5m of kimberlite at around 50m to the north of drill hole KDI-HQ14-033a.

In December 2014, the company has intersected kimberlite of around 194m in drill hole KDI-14-065 at the same location.

Kennady Diamonds CEO Patrick Evans said: "We had delineated the Kelvin pipe-like body over a strike of approximately 610mters up to 033a.

"Drill hole KDI-15HQ-001b, drilled across the pipe from southwest to northeast, now confirms the continuity of Kelvin’s strike to over 660m."

Kennady Diamonds is preparing to commence drilling on a vertical delineation hole above the latest intersect in 001b and recover up to 700 ton bulk sample from the Kelvin.

The company expects to recover diamonds weighing over 1,200 carats from the bulk sample.

Evans said: "Based on drilling up to the end of 2014 we had estimated the tonnage potential of the Kelvin – Faraday kimberlite corridor at between 9 million and 12 million tons."
