Focusing the highly potential area, the company is aiming Target 1, where the miner identified original graphitic mineralization outcropping of a strike length of around 3.75km. Initial drilling is targeted in the southern portion of the Target 1.

Triton managing director Brad Boyle said that the company is delighted to confirm the initial drilling program on the highly prospective graphite area.

"Given the recent results of graphite mineralisation in the Balama North project, we look forward to providing further updates to the market as the drilling and exploration programs progress in the coming weeks," added Boyle.

Triton, meanwhile, is conducting further mapping and other work on both Balama North and Ancuabe project areas to further define and understand the known graphitic mineralization areas.
