Total exploration expenditure during the period was $3m, compared to $20m in the December 2013 quarter.

The company’s total production for the year totaled 1,165 tons of uranium oxide.

Milling rates increased the September 2014 quarter, supported by an additional plant; however, it was balanced by lower plant recovery due to restrictions on the availability of leach tanks.

ERA filed the draft environmental impact statement for the Ranger 3 Deeps underground mine in October 2014 and the public consultation period for the same has closed on 12 December.

The initial stage of Pit 3 rehabilitation has been completed and is set to receive tailings for final deposition.

Surface exploration drilling continued on the Ranger project, and 25 holes were completed during the year.

Further drilling will be carried out this year to finalize the exploration program at anomaly 5, the company said.
