The consolidated value of the two contracts is almost $80m.

Van Oord is expected to execute the contracts using its new shallow water pipe lay vessel, Stingray.

As part of the first contract, Van Oord will perform the single point mooring (SPM) construction project for the S-Oil refinery in the city of Ulsan, Korea.

Under the contract, the company will dredge a trench, install 42in pipeline and the pipe line end manifold system for the Korea-based petroleum and refining company S-Oil.

Van Oord under the second contract, will replace the Shalung No. 1 Offshore Crude Oil Pipeline, for the Taoyuan refinery CPC in Taiwan.

The project work is expected to be executed in the second and third quarters of 2013.
