Mr. Bao Quoc Tran joined Cavico in 2000 and has served as the Company’s Chief Accountant since 2003. Tran holds a master’s degree in banking and finance and graduated from Hanoi National Economic University in 1998.
Tran has served as Cavico Vietnam’s Chief Accounting Officer from 2003 and as Cavico Corp.’s Chief Accounting Officer from July 2009. Tran has played a key role in the preparation of the Company’s consolidated financial statements under VN GAAP and converting them to U.S. GAAP in compliance with SEC regulations.
He works closely with the Company’s Vietnam-based and US-based auditors to ensure the proper preparation of financial statements with adequate disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-Kand other U.S. SEC fillings.Mr. Dieu Thanh Tran joined Cavico in 2000 and served as project manager at Nui Beo Coal Mine from 2000 to 2002, as president of Cavico Mining from 2002 to 2007 and as Cavico Vietnam’s Chief of Cost and Planning from 2007 to December 2009.
A graduate from Hanoi University of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1994, he serves in different key roles due to his deep and extensive knowledge and experiences in mining construction, hydro power construction, project construction and cost and planning control.
