Earlier in April 2011, the company reached an agreement to acquire 95% of the shares of Bonnyridge from Tignish, and this transaction closed in July.

The company will now hold 100% ownership interest in the copper/silver project that include three exploration license blocks located in the center of the Kalahari copper belt.

These blocks are widely characterized as the southwesterly extension of the Zambian/DRC copper belt extending through Botswana and into Namibia.

Sono Resources seeks to acquire, explore and develop highly prospective metal projects in Africa.
