The total grant of C$800,000 ($835,448) for both the companies will be provided for a three year period.
Rosetta will cooperate with a Canadian firm, Agrisoma Biosciences to improve Canola with improved traits, such as increased oil content.
Rosetta will work to identify unique genes, microRNAs to support these improved traits.
Upon signing of the agreement, Rosetta Green will receive the first payment of C$135,700 ($141,713) and the second payment of ILS 486,000 ($140,920) after receipt and approval of the technical and fiscal reports for the first 18 months.
