The company has set exploration target of up to 115 million pounds of uranium grade from its Yanrey uranium project. It claimed that the Barradale Channel has potential geochemical and geophysical indicators alongside multiple uranium mineralization zones.
During a recent drill program, Cauldron has suspended operations at nine holes that intersected the palaeochannel after it returned thick zones of cemented silcrete, pyrite and carbonate cemented bands, reported Proactive Investors.
However, it is planning to re-drill three of these holes to test uranium grade at the bas of channel, penetrating through the hard cemented bands.
