Results at Claude’s 100% owned and operated Seabee Gold Operations include 11.47 grams of gold per tonne (cut) over 3.7m true width (U11-617) at Seabee Deep, 35.79 grams of gold per tonne (cut) over 1.2m true width (U10-683) at Seabee Deep; 17.26 grams of gold per tonne (cut) over 2.3m true width (U10-682) at Seabee Deep.

The results also include 6.18 grams of gold per tonne (cut) over 15.1m true width (SUG-11-006) at Santoy 8, 14.04 grams of gold per tonne (cut) over 2.7m true width (SUG-10-040) at Santoy 8 and 6.13 grams of gold per tonne (cut) over 4.8m true width (U11-345) at L62.

The company said the newly discovered L62 zone is located approximately 200m from existing Seabee underground infrastructure in the hanging wall of the Seabee ore body and at 1,000m below surface.

In 2011, Claude will drill approximately 86,500m at the Seabee Gold Operation.

Claude Resources senior vice president mining operations Philip Ng stated that underground exploration at Santoy 8 continues to prove up additional mineral resources.

"The new L62 zone looks very promising with two holes (U11-345 and U11-347) reporting economic grades and widths," Ng said.

"Based on these encouraging results, we have moved a second diamond drill rig to accelerate exploration of this new zone."
