The non-core, undeveloped oil and gas leases are located in Weld and Morgan Counties of the US state of Colorado.
Synergy will use the proceeds from the sale for further development of its core oil and liquid-rich natural gas assets in the Wattenberg Field of the DJ-Basin.
Synergy vice president William Scaff said that the company seeks new ways to maintain its strategic assets, expand its drilling program and maintain a strong balance sheet.
"The sale of select undeveloped acreage in Weld and Morgan Counties accomplishes these objectives," Scaff said.
Synergy is an oil and natural gas exploration and production firm focused in the Denver-Julesburg Basin, which encompasses the US states of Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas and Nebraska.
