The Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel will be deployed at the Tartaruga Verde and Tartaruga Mestiça Fields contained in the C-M-401 concession block.
Located in 765m depth of water, the concession block is 100% owned by Brazilian national oil company Petrobras.
According to the FPSO’s manufacturer, the vessel has a production capacity of 150,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 5 million cubic metres of gas per day. Apart from that, it has a storage capacity of 1.6 million barrels of oil.
Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29 was delivered by Keppel O&M’s subsidiary Keppel FELS Brasil’s BrasFELS shipyard in Brazil to the Bananal Bay. The delivery was done to Modec Offshore Production Systems (Singapore), an EPCI arm of the MODEC group (Modec).

As part of its contract with Modec, BrasFELS had carried out fabrication of nine topside production modules and integration works for the FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29. Construction of the FPSO was completed safely, on time and within budget, stated Keppel O&M.
Keppel FELS Brasil CEO and president Kwok Kai Choong said: “This is BrasFELS' fifth successful collaboration with our long-standing customer MODEC and we are proud to again deliver to their satisfaction.”
