The solar fund will provide a $1,000 incentive for new or current TXU Energy residential customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who sign up for the solar offer.
TXU Energy CEO Jim Burke said the company’s goal is to deliver innovative solutions that will provide customers more choice and flexibility in managing their energy usage.
"Through our partnership with SolarCity, we are able to provide affordable renewable energy options to new and existing TXU Energy customers" Burke added.
Our expanded partnership with SolarCity offers a full service solution that includes system design, financing, equipment, installation, insurance, monitoring, warranty and a guarantee amount of solar power production, according to the company.
