The company received an INR2.75bn ($61.06m) order from Saudi Electricity Company for a 380 kV transmission line from Qurayyat power plant to Future Tabarjal in Saudi Arabia.
KEC will the complete the contract within 24 months.
Kuwait’s ministry of electricity & water awarded an INR1.49bn ($33.08m) for 400 kV transmission line from Sabah Al Ahmad Substation in Kuwait, which will be complete in 20 months.
Volta River Authority granted an INR750m ($16.65m) order to KEC for a 330 kV transmission line from Volta substation in Tema to Tornu near Dzodze in Ghana.
The order will be complete in 20 months.
KEC also received additional orders worth INR490m ($10.8m) for existing transmission line projects in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi.
KEC subsidiary SAE Towers has secured various orders worth INR900m ($19.98m) for tower supply in North America and South America.
India based utility Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran awarded a INR 2.33bn ($51.7m) for a 33/11kV substations and distribution lines.
The project is scheduled to be completed by Dec 2012.
KEC also secured orders worth INR 1.12bn ($24.8m) for power and telecom cables form an undisclosed customer.
