The wind farm is owned by Ankara-based GAMA Enerji a joint venture between GAMA Holding and GE Energy Financial Service.
The wind farm uses nine GE 2.5MW turbines.
The GE-GAMA joint venture is also developing the 10-MW Karadag wind farm, 350km south of Sares.
Construction of the project is expected to start in the third quarter of this year, with completion expected in the second quarter of next year.
