In addition, the meeting addressed issues of interaction in staff training and qualification upgrading, the progress in the Sci-Tech co-operation program as well as possible co-operation in liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects in other countries.
The agreement of co-operation in the gas industry, pursuant to which Gazprom and Kogas were identified as authorized companies overseeing natural gas deliveries from Russia to Korea was signed in October 2006. To implement the agreement both the parties set up a standing joint working group.
