The ME2 program is a component of the city’s Climate Action Plan and is designed to help the community achieve a 33% reduction in green house gas emissions by 2020. The City of Berkeley expects that residents and business owners will save over $100m in net energy savings by 2020.
ME2, combined with additional rebates from PG&E, will provide up to $8,500 per unit for homeowners eligible for the program.
