Reuters reported that the price of regular gasoline increased to JPY152.60 per liter for the week ended March 7, 2008, up JPY0.70 from the previous week.
The hike in regular gasoline prices comes after the largest refiner in Japan, Nippon Oil, and Nippon Mining Holdings’s refining unit increased the cost of wholesale gasoline for March 2008, reports the news source.
