Salman said “The two completed power plants are in Al Majjaz and Abu Shagara, while the remaining in Al Mirgab, Al Nouf, Al Mahatta and the Khaled sea port which will be in operation during August.”

The project is part of SEWA’s proposal to enhance the power generation operation systems and the power distribution network to fulfill the peak summer demands due to the quick development of the real estate segment.

SEWA has performed general maintenance work at all the power stations and erected systems to scrutinize lapses that hinder efficient operations.

These new power stations will enhance power supply to places where construction projects are in progress including Al Memzer, Al Khan, AL Majjas and Abu Shagara.

Salman indicated that the power consumption is likely to rise from 8% to 10% and the power quantity is capable of satisfying those demands.
