The refinery will process 100,000 tonnes of crude oil monthly and up to one million tonnes of oil on an annual basis.
The plant received 34,000 tonnes of Urals oil for refining last month, reports Kyiv Post.
The Lysychansk oil refinery has the capacity to process around 8 million tonnes of oil per year.
