“Jeff has consistently proven to be one of Chesapeake Utilities’ key contributors and is well respected among his colleagues at Chesapeake Utilities,” said Schimkaitis. “We are excited for Jeff to be named as an officer of the Company.”

In addition to managing both divisions, Tietbohl develops and executes strategic and business plans as well as the operating and capital budgets for this business unit. He also develops and implements sales and marketing programs and pursues new business opportunities that enhance the earnings of the of the business unit. Prior to this position, he served as director of regional business planning and development for the delmarva natural gas distribution business unit since June 2005.

“I’ve watched Jeff come up through the ranks at Chesapeake Utilities and I’m very proud of what he has accomplished,” added Stephen C. Thompson, senior vice president. “His many accomplishments and strong character support his new designation as an officer of the company.”

Tietbohl began his employment with Chesapeake Utilities in June 1989 as a Rate Analyst I. Since that time, he has held the positions of Rate Analyst II, Rate Analyst III, Delmarva natural gas accounting manager, director of regulatory affairs and controller of Delmarva natural gas. With each position, he has assumed more responsibilities within the business unit which has increased his experience and contributed to his successful track record.

Tietbohl is a graduate of Wesley College in Dover, Delaware.
