The partnership has also commenced the construction of another 200KW project at Chemeketa Community College in Salem,

At both these sites, SANYO HIT Power 220A solar panels made by using locally produced ingots and wafers from its plant, SANYO Solar of Oregon have been installed.

These solar panels have a cell efficiency of 19.8% and module efficiency of 17.4%.

In Chemeketa Community College four separate solar systems totaling more than 200KW of electrical capacity will be mounted on the rooftops of buildings on their main campus in Salem, as well as at satellite campuses around Salem.

These installations will generate over 225,000kWh of energy per year for the college.

In total, these systems should generate over 225,000 kilowatt-hours per year for the college.
