He has also been appointed as the CEO of Arizona Public Service (APS), the company’s principal subsidiary. Mr Brandt has served as president of APS since January 2007.
Mr Brandt replaces Jack Davis in all three positions and will report to the chairman, Bill Post. Mr Davis will be retiring on March 1, 2008 after 35 years of service with the company.
Mr Brandt joined APS and its parent company in 2002, and has more than 25 years of experience in the electric utility industry.
