The agreement was executed by Kedco’s subsidiary Reforce Energy with the three farms expected to have a combined installed capacity of 30MW.

The company will gain a 50% stake in the projects and is required to fund all pre-construction development costs.

Kedco CEO Gerry Madden remarked that the agreement supports the company’s strategy to diversify its energy portfolio while accelerating growth prospects.

"Together with the 25MW Londonderry project and 4MW extension to our Newry Project announced on the 14 January, this brings the total portfolio under development by the Company to 125MW," explained Madden.

Madden further added that the company is also evaluating further agreements to develop projects across renewable technology spectrum.
