Om Metals has won this order in association with MoU partner, SPML Infra. The order entitles the company to engage in the construction of hydro-mechanical works of the Kalisindh gravity dam in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. Work is expected to be started on the project within a period of ten days.
The scope of activity will include and involve engineering, procurement and construction work, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of hydro-mechanical components.
Vikas Kothari, director of business development at Om Metal, said: “As a part of our continuing strategy we will be bidding for larger projects to enhance our portfolio. Our focus will continue to remain in areas like renewable and non-renewable energy, irrigation and other infrastructure projects, both in India and worldwide.”
