The company has identified eight new, high-priority targets on the Wilhelmstal license, one of four licenses comprising the Damara project.
A reconnaissance drilling program consisting of eight diamond drill holes (497m of oriented core out of the initial 5,000m+ planned for the Damara project) has been completed on the Wilhelmstal license.
Of these, four holes were drilled on the B1 target, two on Cheshire Cat and two on Bird’s Nest target.
Helio has completed geophysical surveys over the Cheshire Cat and B1 targets.
The Damara gold project comprises four licenses, namely Etjo South, Okakango, Wilhelmstal and Otjimbojo, and these licenses cover about 3,185 sq km.
