Previously Chen served as a director of finance at eLong and finance manager of the North China region for Eli Lilly Asia Inc.

During her extensive career as a financial executive, Chen has effectively built and managed accounting systems, improved financial reporting and controls, and implemented internal policies and procedures in compliance with standards required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Chen now holds memberships with CPA Australia and The National Institute of Accountants (NIA), and has done Ph.D. in Business Administration from Victoria University, Neuchatel, Switzerland, and an MBA from City University, Seattle, Washington.
