The project, which covers 370,000 square meters of land, can generate 26.1 million KWh per year of power, which is equal to the annual energy consumption of 7,000 households.

Located in a 37ha private and communal forest in Nasushiobara City, Japan, the large-scale solar power plant construction started in June 2014 and is planned to commence operations in September 2015.

Clenergy is supplying ground mount product, known as SolarTerrace II-A, from the PV-ezRack range, which features innovative, durable technology, safety and a quick installation.

Clenergy Japan regional manager Charles Ando said: "We’re glad to see that the project is a sustainable development to the environment and will generate more green power for Japan.

"With its pre-assembled and patented designs, Clenergy provides our customer a mounting solution with optimal balance of cost and structural elegance.

"We are confident about the success of the project and enthusiastic about future developments in the Japanese renewable energy market."
