Ajumogobia said at a stakeholders’ forum to discuss current efforts at the realization of Federal government’s policy on bio-fuel and to address those challenges to be encountered.

Ajumogobia, therefore, charged them to address the relevant challenges within the larger context of cleaner and safer source of energy.

Ajumogobia pointed out that the benefits of renewable energy for the environment and for the economy are vast as it would lead to wealth creation, employment opportunities, industrial development and power generation which are all part of this administration’s seven- point agenda programme.

The stakeholders at the forum included the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), major and independent marketers association, Green Energy Society of Nigeria, All Farmers Association of Nigeria, state governments, NEPAD and private companies.
