ADNOC Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has signed an 25-year service agreement with the Petroleum Ports Authority (PPA) to provide critical marine services for all the petroleum ports in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Under the contract, it will provide services the onshore Jebel Dhanna Ruwais Petroleum Port and the offshore Das Island, Zirku Island and Mubarraz Petroleum Ports.

The PPA appointed the company after technical reviews and benchmarking against several regional and international ports, with an objective to align with international best practices and delivering optimum petroleum-port operations.

ADNOC L&S CEO Abdulkareem Al Masabi said: “This new agreement with PPA is a natural evolution of our close collaboration over many years and will allow us to utilize our resources strategically, and drive innovation that will boost performance, enhance efficiency and deliver a seamless end-to-end service at all Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports.”

ADNOC L&S will offer a suite of specialist port services to PPA

As part of the agreement, ADNOC L&S will offer a suite of specialist port services to PPA such as pilotage, towage, line handling and other marine services.

ADNOC L&S claims to have an extensive experience in managing port operations.

Last year, its marine services team completed 8,659 dives, 741 towages, 2,022 line-handling jobs for incoming vessels, 5,630 pilotages and 2,806 vessel berths, besides managing a large oil spill response inventory in the country.
