The well will have a total vertical depth of 1,244m KB and a horizontal open hole section measuring about 1,278m in length.
The company will complete the well employing multiple fracs in the horizontal section, tested and equipped for production.
RockBridge president and CEO Richard Wolfli said that this is the first well to be drilled on the company’s 4.5 gross sections of land holdings in the Pembina Cardium oil play area.
"The company has identified 15 possible horizontal well locations on its current landholdings that it intends to develop," Wolfli said.
RockBridge holds a 35.7% working interest in the well, which is operated by Avatar Energy.
