Two large administrative and industrial centers in the Arkhangelsk Oblast are to be additionally gasified and the regional gasification levels are expected to rise once the pipeline is constructed.
Gazprom’s core business units, as well as its Severgazprom, Giprospetsgaz and Mezhregiongaz subsidiaries are involved in the construction of the pipeline.
The capacity of the pipeline is expected to be around 3.3 billion cubic meters per annum. The company reported that nearly 375 kilometers of the gas pipeline has already been constructed.
