FARS News Agency cited Iranian Ambassador to Nigeria Saeed Kouzehchi as saying: "Iran is ready to share its experiences with Nigeria to use nuclear energy for power generation.
Kouzehchi said Iran is making use of its nuclear technology in order to enhance the power, health and agriculture sectors in the country.
"Iran has invaluable experience in constructing power plants and transmission lines for electricity supply.
"Without electricity it is impossible to create any investment or job."
The country, which is considered as one of the African Union’s strategic partners along with India, Japan, China, several South American states and Turkey, is considering prioritizing its economic and political ties with the African states.
