Petrofac will undertake the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of gas sweetening facilities in both locations which includes extraction of sulphur from natural gas at NGL-3 in Messaieed and an acid gas recovery plant at Arab-D in Dukhan.
The company said that the work on the projects is expected to commence soon and is due for completion within 38 months.
