The 198,763 hectare Genesis project is located along the Wollaston Mudjatik structural corridor.
As part of the Phase 1 exploration, airborne geophysical survey of 6,006 line km was completed by CGG Canada Service; 291 lake sediment, 1,351 soil and 162 biogeochemical samples were collected.
Funded by Roughrider, the C$1m ($0.9m) program is designed to advance various uranium targets for drill testing.
The lake sediment samples will be analyzed by Saskatchewan Research Council in Saskatoon, while the soil and biogeochemical grid controlled samples were sent to Ontario-based Activation Laboratories for analysis.

In May, Kivalliq Energy granted an option to Roughrider, formerly Westham Resources, to acquire around 85% stake in the Genesis property.
