The Snezhnaya-Zavyalovo pipeline is 49 kilometers long, while the Maiskaya-Festivalnaya-Luginetskoye pipeline is 159 kilometers long and extends from Imperial’s Maiskaya field, through its Festivalnaya field, to the Transneft tie-in at Luginetskoye.

Imperial also revealed that it is now proceeding with the complex construction of two custody transfer stations at the designated Transneft tie-in points at Zavyalova and Luganetskoye in the Tomsk region.

Even though the stations are yet to be completed, it is expected that the first oil from Imperial’s Snezhnoye and Maiskoye fields will start to flow into the company’s pipelines by the end of June, which Imperial said should allow the production target to be achieved on schedule.

Peter Levine, chairman of Imperial, commented: Completion of the laying of the pipelines is a significant achievement and is another building block that will enable Imperial to achieve its production objectives.
