The natural gas will be supplied to new and existing AEP Energy retail customers only to those who are eligible to participate in the Columbia Gas of Ohio Choice program, the company said.
AEP Energy Residential and Solutions president Scott Slisher by offering natural gas together with electricity, AEP Energy now can provide central Ohio residents with a full-service energy solution.
"Our natural gas service offerings will provide the same strength, service, and competitive pricing that customers expect and rely on from AEP Energy," added Slisher.
AEP Energy is authorized by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio as a certified Competitive Retail Natural Gas Service (CRNGS) provider to supply natural gas.
